What a busy term we have had in 1/2J! We have been very busy in our classroom doing lots of learning. We have been making new friends, doing exciting things and getting used to having a full term at school!

In writing this term, we have been working on creating recounts and narratives.

In maths we have been looking at place value, time and location. This has seen us doing lots of work with numbers and learning to read analogue and digital clocks.

We have looked at lots of different reading strategies this term to help us to improve our reading and understanding of the books we read.

In Mappen, we have been learning about our community and the services we have available to us.

I hope everyone has a restful and enjoyable holidays and I look forward to seeing everyone rested and recharged next term.
